For the same reason I love Tennis, The Year of Hibernation has an angelic quality that is hard to describe. Trevor Power's voice is simply unreal. The fact that he recorded this album in his bedroom at Boise State makes him even more unbelievable.
When listening to "17," be certain to stick around until the 2:15 mark because the song's epicness goes through the roof. That wailing electric guitar -- gah! -- it gets me every time.
