This week I discovered that Merrill Garbus of tUnE-yArDs was once a member of the Canadian band Sister Suvi. And while the band only released one full-length album and their sound is nearly identical to Garbus' solo work, I feel like I've just discovered a new tUnE-yArDs album!! Although "America" is an extraordinarily violent song and unfortunately has an oddly awkward video to go along with it, the track has the classic tUnE-yArDs sound I love.
